I have Fran Gage's book and I cannot tell you how much I learned about olive oil from her. The recipes are awesome and I have even managed to buy bottles of oil from the producers she features in her book. It is fascinating reading for any foodie, especially those foodies who cook with nothing but olive oil. She has debunked many olive oil myths for me. Also, it is a gorgeously photographed book. Sure wish I had a chance to be at that book signing!

Virgin Olive oil plus chocolate was something that seemed gross to me, until I had a really amazing chocolate mousse with olive oil, at the "B" restaurant in Old Oakland. YUM!!!
